I love watching the auditions, kind of fall off watch after all is picked to go on...hubby absolutely hates it...I think we all need to laugh, last night i loved the banana man...

That is true...I have a friend who also went..And she made it through one round, she never once saw the judges.., and she sounds like an angel when she sings...
I guess they let the really bad ones through so that we can laugh.., but really how can they do that to themselves!!

They do have rounds before you get to the judges. A good friend of mine tried out in the Phila tryouts like 3 years ago. She said you have to go through like 3 different rounds before you get to go before the judges. She actually made it to hollywood but lost once she got there. Her audition never made it on air.

I have to agree, the new girl didn't do much for me at all. I know they do this for ratings, but I don't understand why they don't have some sort of elimination before they get to go before the judges.

I watched it and Im with Nauty I didnt really like the new chick either. Im not all that crazy about the auditions either but I just have to watch. I dont know why they let that girl go on to hollywood now its giving a free pass and everyone next year will be in bikinis. They are always stressing that its a singing competion but whatever is going to get ratings I guess.

Forget it, I just watched it on You Tube. I mean, what are people thinking. I guess you want attention, but come on. You have to degrade yourself to do it. You are openly saying that your voice alone cannot carry you threw to the next round, so you use your looks?
