I haven't seen a commercial for sleep aids in months and here when I have had a bad week, they are everywhere.  I am watching "house" and there have been 2 back to back commercials for lunesta and ambien.  Oh well, guess what, keep on with the ads, I can take it.  I have been clean from the ambien for 9 months now and I have no desire to sleep my life away again.

Sounds like you're passing the tests.  BTW if you need help blocking the drug ads, try using Opera or firefox.

It is so funny how I never paid attention to the ads when things were going good or even when I was addicted.  I never noticed how much they come on tv.  Now that I am clean from them and have a bad day I notice them.  I guess that is how relapse sneaks up on us.  I am glad to have the friends I do here to support me when I need them.

Excellent!!   There you go, you told those ads  and sleep meds what do with their sorry selfs!!           I hope you are proud of yourself for being strong and telling it like it is,  you have the control now, the sleep meds don't, and they never will again!!  Congrats.
