how long can it take

hi need some advice about getting my child from foster care.It all started around April 17 ,12   a cps caseworker came to my house at 2 am at night on accusation about i abuse my daughter . that i hit her had with glass bottle .i told her  really what happend  that  i my daughter want her bottle and i was on sleeping meds  because i been vomiting six times  day . so took meds they told me take two pills they said after you take these pills you in the bed all night.my daughter was crying she want her bottle so i had throw the bottle to get to her but i did not know she laying their.she is two  years old . she ask to look around  she was said that it was not safe to  keep my little girl here.she ask if i had somone to take care  of my daughter i said yes fiance mother.she  had lived with her for two  months. fiance mother  said we could not take care of her so we had to put her in foster care that the reason why we here now in court.when we went to  court on may 16 ,12 my laywer speak in my behalf that not was abuse it was not abuse it was just mistake . judge agree but because the house was dirty . and we have no one take care of my daughter. he wanted fast proceed .  we are alreday take my parenting class and i took my psyloical test he waiting on him get his done i still have to take my anger magment . other class i have to take doesmetic viloence class indivual therpay. i how long can they keep my daughter freom me

I would think once you have completed all your classes and prove to the courts things are different then your daughter should be returned to you.  Do you take other meds on top of the sleeping pills?

no iam   not abuse meds i did`not know that promethazine cause sleeping until i had talk my doctor. i never had street drug . i hate taking meds . only reason why use meds because was not gain wait for my baby i was losse too many pounds. throw up six times day.

Hi!  I can't imagine that they could keep her past the completion of your last class.  As long as there is nothing other than that one incident, I think you will get her back.  However, if they think that your daughter is at risk of being hurt due to you continuing to take now even stronger meds for sleep, you may not get her back at the end of classes.  Can you stop taking your sleeping pills?  Maybe get by with just the pormethazine?  That causes drowsiness.  And it on top of sleeping pills could put you to sleep for so long that you can't care for her properly if you're the only adult in the house.  Are you abusing the meds?  Wanting to stop?

I know this is hard!  I'm a parent of a small child and cannot imagine how I'd feel!  I'm praying for you!

the doctor gave me a new meds when that happend just start to take new meds higher dosage than the other. that was only meds vomiting pills from my pregnency and sleeping pills but i took my vomiting pills 1 hour early than i took sleep pill couple min after
