i just read your comments, about co-dependency, on the above post and loved it ! ! ! !   i am currently at my mom's house (came up to see my granddaughter) and couldnt wait for my mom to wake up so that i could read it to her...she is one of my son's "worst enemy"...the enabler...the co-dependant.  i really dont know how she would survive without him...she cant...she doesnt want to...and she will NEVER change.  she is 79 years old and this has been her "life" for the past 15 years, with the last 10 being totally out of control.  the sad part is...until my mother passes away...he doesnt have a snowball's chance in hell :(

Hey there friend! Long time no talk. I've sure missed ya'. Things are as beautiful up here as they can be. My backyard is wonderful ;-)
I hope you are doing well and staying clean. Drop me a PM so we can catch up.

I meant what I said about codependency. It is another type of addiction and it runs lives. I'm hoping lovenhope catchs on and does something about their sick relationship. Once your relationship has degenerated to the level they are at, there really is no salvaging it. Plus, her ex is a drug addict. Trouble, trouble, trouble.
I think we all need to be on the look out for codependency. It's a big problem.

Once again, I sure missed you. Hope to talk to you soon.

Hey lady! Thanks for the positive comment on my codependency post. I was hoping nobody would try to nuke me into the next stone age because they think I am being mean by calling a spade a spade.
There are so many of us that have bad relationships as an addiction and it doesn't do anyone any good. I can't stand by and watch somebody post their sickness on the forum and not give them the truth.
Sorry your son has to wait for a death before he has to take responsibility for his actions :-( Hang in there and try to stay positive.

Stay strong
