songs or shows that changed your life?

Shows like Intervention and Dog the Bounty Hunter make me cry for those people and gave me a look into my own life. A few songs too like the one by Creed "with arms wide open" changed my life especially the part "I hope she's not like me" and Dancing with Cindarella made so much impact on me. What shows or songs changed your life?

Yes, Rush is "the true path". We should start a religion based on the 2112 album. :)

Hmmm... I think the earliest show I can remember being life changing was "The Fall Guy". (Lee Majors as a stunt man) I decided I wanted to be a stunt man when I grew up, and started learning and practicing for that day! :)

I loved it and am thinking about going back and doing it on the weekends......I am looking for a gig right now, but its hard because I don't have my "following" anymore.  So, I need to find an established place........anyway.......I love Karaoke and the drunken fools.  The men were on me like flies on dog poop......lol.  that didn't come out right but its funny so i'll keep it......Unfortunately, not the right kinda man in my book.  What woman wouldnt want a slobbering drunk that cant sing drooling all over them at the end of the night.

Am I rambling or what......sorry.....
Nauty.......

Ditto the Luther Vandross song "Here And Now". My sister and her husband had it played during their wedding ceremony. She was pregnant with their first child when she was murdered....this was in 1993 and I still can't listen to the song.

I'd hate to lump it into just one song, and the reality is that a band helped me a lot.  My all time favorite band is Rush.  There are a lot of good reasons, i.e., they don't sing about sex, drugs, and rock-and-roll (for the most-part).  And if I had to whittle it down to one song, I would go with Subdivisions.  The song, in short, is about the pressures of growing up and fitting in.

Intervention is a great show too.

I like that song too. I would not want to hear the creed song on karaoke! It just makes me cry when I think of my baby girl when I hear it. I bet any song badly sung will make you cringe later. Remember that william hung from american Idol? lol That just made me think of him, too funny! And why do they always put karaoke in bars? Drunk people are the worst singers ever! well I guess I would need a shot too to have the cajones to get up there and sing!

Married with children.....LOL.  Hell I didn't need to watch that show I lived it, and the day a friend of mine saw me in my stretchy pants and my old (not anymore) 80's do....he told me looked and walked like a blonde Peg. Bundy.....OUCH !!......I used to have a Karaoke business approx. 3 years ago, and that song by creed I learned to hate.  One of the most popular songs sung, and....lets just say when its poorly done .....which was every time...Oiy !!

Anything Disney and I am balling my eyes out !!

I believe it was an episode of "Married With Children" - -  possibly "Apacolypse Now" - or maybe it was actually Vietnam???  The Grateful Dead and later Jimmy Buffett for music - I do remember that!

I really liked that Celebrity Rehab w/Dr Drew....the insight of seeing celebrities..ones you think have it all...and how deep their addictions went. I can barely watch Intervention it's almost to sad to watch sometimes!

I agree on the song by Creed....that does get you doesn't it? So true those words..

Good question!
