I just want to let all know that im still clean even tho im in very bad real pain, I have 2 disc t11 & t12 that are herniated the Dr. say's there is nothing you can do too fix them, well there is one thing i can do that is lean on you good people and live on your prayers from one day too the next. I have been up all nite in pain, and even in tears thur the last week or so im trying to stay strong and will stay strong. Just keep me in mind as I do you and we will all come out ok!!!

I have had 2 disc replaced in my neck c5 and c6 and 4,5,6,7 are fussed togather, one doc wouldnt take me as a patient the said he had about 50% chance on my neck. It does not bother me awhole lot now just feel like I have a stiff neck all the time but not real bad.  They said IF they did surgery on my back that it would not hold due to where it is at and they could only do it once, and that if the surgery failed I would be in unbearable pain or not able to walk. I just cannot take that chance. They also said that over 50% of the type of surgery that I need fails within the frist year. I would rather be in my right mind than be back on those crusssed pills. I AM GOING TO WIN THIS FIGHT!!! Thanks to all for thier support Love Aaron aka outotown

Hang Tuff!! Maybe time to see another doc. I find it hard to believe that there is nothing that can be done. Fusion???
Daily migrainer here....(that was how mine started) I am slowly learing how to get through the pain. I have 2 disc out as well. Lower 2 and 3. Good days and bad. I just never want to go throught w/d's again!

You ROCK!!!  I think we cronic pain folks who are also addicts have a rude awaking after the narcotics leave our bodies. The pain is still there & magnified because we are addicts. We KNOW how to fix it, don't we?
Other people take Advil, Celebex or whatever & just deal with the pain.
WE (addicts) have a "darkness" that speaks to our minds. I know I do.
I have to always be vigilant.
Outotown, I don't know YOUR pain, so I can't speak to that, but I know mine.
My "darkness" spoke to me the other day. My husband helped me a lot, because he DOES know how bad my pain is & would never ask me to suffer, but he knows ABOUT my "darkness". With his loving support & everyone here, I did make it.
Today I am pretty "creaky", but I'm gonna try & deal with it without narcotics.

wow!  i'm so sorry to hear about how much pain you're in and that  you've been able to stay clean even thru such pain.....again, wow!   you can bet that my prayers are heading your way, even as i speak....but will finish typing and will say a deeper prayer for you.....i wish you well, my friend.....please know that i'm thinking of you....
