how long does it take your body to adjust when you are tapering fentanly

Hey since I think I will be tapering off my 50 mcg patches can anyone let me know how long does it take your body to adjust to the taper?  How fast can you taper?

Thank you so much for your post and the help.
As you probably know once you decide to make the change your mind is swamped with questions and concerns.  My mind is likely my on worse enemy now and it is still 2 weeks from Monday til I see my doctor.  So I want to be prepared when I go in to see her to tell her I want to get off the patches.  
Once again thank you and by far this is the best site that I have seen on the web.  Everything else was awful and has scared me to death and made me physically sick to even read it and I haven't even started to ween yet.
Your help and post is greatly appreciated.

hi stephanie, i know it looks like you are being ignored, but you are not.  i dont see any of our member on right now that have detoxed of the patch.  i will send a note to jacqui805 she has and has done very well....i will aske her to answer your question she gets on.....hang in there it is really slow on the weekends.
