ADDICTION

Dear Dr. Julia M Aharonov, DO  
i have written you 2-3 questions regarding addiction of pentazocine(IM) and i get very good answers and in  todays time it is very very useful & from one of the best doctors of the world.i was taking pentazocine(IM)12 ml a day almost since 5 years and as i have decided to quit by tapering the doses i try to reduce to 4ml in a one dose& try without any injection 2 days i try almost for a week but things that as i reduced the doses i get the drowsiness(sleep) almost about 14-16hours sleeps a day. i do not know whether it is a due to reduced the doses? can u give some comments on this & what would b the solution for this?is this a after effect of reducing dose?please elaborate?

sonirn, if you're reading this - just copy and paste everything you said in your first post here and send it to the doctor privately. I'm sure she'll get it much faster. :)

She is a doctor on this forum .She is on this board ,although She may and may not address this question. I hope She sees this and I hope you get an answer. Dr. Aharonov has not posted anything since March I believe.
