HI and welcome to the forum   your in a real jam here best bet is take them to avoid the withdrawal as long as you can  80mg is a lot to jump from but we have members who jumped as high as 120  its not pritty but it is doable keep posting for support you might want to let your wife know about this site it will be helpful if she got it other then thst get up to walmart and pick up a 3 in 1 vitamin  calcium magnesum zinc   start taking 4 in the morning and 4 with dinner this will greatly cut down on your withdrawals  push the fluids  by a case of gatoraid that and a good hot soak will help  keep posting for support  this forum was priceless when I detoxed from methadone  it a monster to kick but it can be done good luck and God bless.......................Gnarly........................................

thanks for posting....i personally don't have experience with methadone but lots of people on the forum do...it's sort of slow on the weekends so keep checking for postings.....this site is great for info and advice...good luck to you and your wife....hopefully she can stop altogether soon.
