Am I still detoxing?

Hi guys, has anyone ever been really sick with detox symptoms on day 25? I know they come in waves, but yesterday and today feels like the first 3 days. I know this will pass, but I can totally understand why people give up and relapse. I am working very hard for sobriety. I guess I just need some support and to hear that feeling this way is normal.

Thanks for all the replies, I am having both mood and physical symptoms. However, I did realize why the symptoms were coming back so hard, I was experiencing PMS. My body is completely off track and wasn't expecting it, along with being numbed out for so long. Thanks again guys, I will keep pushing through.

hi hun, what are your main symptoms?
are you eating enough, staying hydrated?
congestion, runny nose, lethargy, anxiety, stomach issues,  rls, aches and pains, sleep problems are all still very common at 25 days.

you are doing awesome, keep moving forward, one day at a time.
congrats on your 25 clean days.
time will be your healer, hang in there.
keep the faith.....
keep up the good work.
the light at the end of your tunnel is getting brighter each day.
sending support, encouragement, prayers and healing,
debbie

Long time drug use does alot to the Neurotransmitter. This is what can take many, many months to balance back..When the brain is trying to heal it does send singles to the body that you might think you have something else. This is what takes awhile. It is all part of the process. BUT if it feels more like the flu then you might have the flu..BUT as far as some anxiety, or sleep, no-motivation, aches and pains and Emotional that sounds like the detox. Yes, I went through this for almost 6 months of being pretty uncomfortable but I am no young chic and I came off of 3 meds at once and was on Substances for a LONG time. So many factors come into play here. It has been almost a year and I am still balancing back. I wish you the best and just hang tight..It will ease up and start to turn a new corner soon.

Hi so your feeling like withdrawal or just sick ? both can happen days or even months out  for most your body goes threw many changes in the first month and it just doesn't feel right. remember you dident become a addict over night and it may take a wile to feel well again  most off it is how long you used and at what dose you where taking just know many people feel like new at first  we call it the pink cloud effect but it doesn't last long and then your feeling sick or just not yourself yet  I know your probably sick of hearing it but hang in there time is your best friend and with time you will get better good luck and God bless..... Hey sorry friend it does take a month or so sometimes to really begin to feel stable but I am wondering ......Are you talking about a mood thing or are you talking about full on physical symptoms ??  You could be coming down with a bug. There are a couple of different nasty ones going around and I just got over being sick with one of them. It really felt like withdrawal but it couldn't be that for me because I am way past detox .If it is anxiety and low energy etc. then yes it could just be a wave. That usually means that feeling even better than before is right around the corner. Either way hang in there and do not use because of this. You will not get better if you do. Keep up the great job and congrats on 25 days !!  You are almost there !!!
