dxm veterans long term effects

Ok this ***** *** but i have to do it though as im not exactly certain as to what is wrong with me. Im sure it is a combination of factors as i have always had issues, but ive never felt this low or hopeless in my entire life. To all the people who have had some experiences with dxm preferably long time users what effects have you noticed. Looking for mainly cognitive effects like how you have changed socially and specifically how it has effected your sense of humor but anything else would be great. My dxm abuse has not been an every day thing but more a periodic one. At most a few times a week but i used delsym which is the extended release kind said to be more neurotoxic

I feel like im in a perpetual daze state and feel my thoughts are slower. Even in my dreams theres this nagging feeling that something is wrong. Tv shows and movies that would usually make me laugh now don't. I still recognize and appreciate the humor though I do not laugh. Social interaction for me provides a lot of anxiety and feelings of hopelessness because i rarely have anything to say.I don't laugh at others jokes and make them feel awkward because of my silence. My parents and friends tell me i'm just shy and have anxiety but 3 years later and i'm still feeling like this it has to be something deeper. So if you could i would really appreciate your experiences and any long term effects you have noticed. Thanks

Not really looking for a diagnoses as im pretty sure i know what it is. Mainly just people who have had similar experiences and how they have dealt with life after.

I don't know that anyone can diagnose your symptoms or condition, if there is one, over a keyboard. Your best bet is to visit your doctor, get honest and express your concerns.

I wish you the best and hope it all works out.
