Addiction:substance abuse

My son is taking suboxone everyday. I found a bottle of Carisoprodol in his room. What kind of interaction takes place if taken together.

I will not get into specifics, but there's a reason he's taking that particular muscle relaxer. You need to confront him.

His doctor didn't prescribe it for him. The label is torn off and obviously not his prescription. Yes, I know it's a muscle relaxer, but he's taking suboxone. I have no idea if this medication (SOMA) affects suboxone. I took the pills and hid them.

First thing I would do is discuss  your son and  with his doctor who prescribes it to him? They are a muscle relaxer .
