Ok here it is part 2......Is this you?

Some more thing that happen while eating oxys.....

1. Your panicing because you ran out and you tear your house apart because you swear you dropped one out of the bottle back when you had some.
2. Taking a pill just to get by a social event like a family get together at Christmas.
3. Putting some pills aside when you get your refill because you think it will help you save some and you won't take as much.
4. You are out and a "friend" gives you a pill and swears it is a percocet, so you call poisin control and lie and tell them your dog found this pill and you want to know what it is. ( I once told them I found this pill in my sons room.....I DONT HAVE A SON!!!)
5. Telling people what drug you are on just to get a "Wow" from them
6. When you drive and have a close call for an accident, thinking in the back of your mind, if you crash and get blood tested, you are screwed!!!!
7. Wondering why your pill doesn't work as good as it used to.
8. Always trying to get that next pill to make you feel like the "First Time"
9. Browsing the internet to see other peoples reaction to your medicine
10. Telling the doctor that your pills don't work anymore, so you need stronger ones.
11. Tell yourself and others, you can quit anytime, knowing it is almost impossible without help.
12. Wake up in the middle of the night, take a pill and don't want to go back to sleep because you'll miss the "Feeling"
13. Worry people are thinking and telling each other you are a "Junkie"
14. Asked neigbors for a pain pill because you have a "headache" and the real reason is because you are out.
15. Having withdrawl symptoms and go out to walk it off and look at complete strangers and wonder if they have pills.
16. Pick up your script late in the day and decide to take your morning and lunch dose with your late dose because you think....I would have taken them anyway if I picked them up earlier.


Well, I will stop there. This stuff HAS happened to me......This is why I'm here.

I need you folks.

I will do this...

and for all you people who are in the middle of detoxing or have gone and done it already.

YOU ARE MY HEROS.....

LOL #15  We'd be driving down the road with my sister looking at all the houses saying I bet there's pills in almost every house. Lets knock on doors and say we're with the government and we're here to collect all your unused pills to be distroyed. lol We would never had done that though.

Well I was injured in an airborne accident (ARMY) back in 2000. I broke my back and I've been on just about everything...including "Morphine" which put my to sleep! I am in pain 24/7 regardless. The oxy makes it bearable. My doctors are VA. They are thier to cattle evry veteran through fast and put a bandaid on it and tell me to deal with it. I am just about to start my detox but I am getting some info from people in here so I will stop being so scared to do it. You and all the other people in here are really like my gaurdian angels. Without you folks, I wouldn't even cocider detoxing.Thank you

i c.  Are you trying to quit? 5 years! my goodness...you must have some kind of seroius pain condition!!  Have you talked to your doctors?  When did you become addicted?

Hey....I am a prescribed addict....I am a vet and I been on them (Oxycodone 40mg 3 time a day) for 5 years plus.
