What you are experiencng are the classic cases of withdrawl and yes, at times, you will feel like you are dying, but hang in there this all passes with time. You will feel sweaty and most of all extreme muscle aches, much like a bad flu symtpom, but try taking Epsom salt baths often. They really do help. Also stay hydrated with water and stay away from sugary soft drinks. There is a lot of really good information on these posts. We all are in the same place or at least have been through this before and can hopefully give you some insight regarding your concerns. Stay strong and try getting outside for a walk.
You are feeling the pains of withdrawl. BUT, be thankful you were able to recognize the early signs of addiction and stop before things got any worse. You will probably feel bad for about 5 days, then you should start feeling a little better. Keep coming here and posting...we would love to help you beat this and you don't have to go back to using pills to survive. I had a spinal fusion and decided that even if I have to live with some pain, it was worth it to break free from the grips of addiction and regain the freedom of a life that isn't dominated by the obsessing over and using pills. Good luck and stay strong...it does get better, much better.
First of all let me commend you on only taking 4 a day. I am currently withdrawing from vicoden. I was at 15 a day...(10's) and what you are feeling is totally normal withrdrawls....I came on here yesterday and the people on here are so helpful. Keep watching your post. Alot of what they told me helped me through my day yesterday. I'm so much better today but I am on day 8...keep a chin up ...it will pass..ps Youre not dying....
Yes, you are in withdrawal ----- Good news is that since you only used a relatively short time, they should not last too long or get much worse. You are almost there, so don't quit now. Hang in and in a couple of days you will be fine. I hope you will say a prayer of thanksgiving that you managed to stop in time before this became a much worse problem. Please keep posting and let us know how you are doing. All the best.
