Happy Dancing-Highland Fling is coming your way from Minnesota!!!!! 7 days is just awesome!!!!! Fight those cravings with everything you have. Get busy, clean closets, rearrange your cupboards, your bedroom, the neighbors closets!!! Get some fresh air, soak in the tub, turn a funny movie on just stay busy. Just keep fighting!!!!! sara
James this is where we change behaviors Kim you listening :) You have to fight the craving.. I know they are bad.. but that walk at your moms would be good right now.. I know you are still hurting but push yourself.. It will help a lot.. Change the house around do a puzzle.. fill the time.. I used the camera as a way of battling craving.. find a interest outside of heroin.. while addicted we focus on the high.. This is also a good time for meeting in your area.. NA AA where other addicts that are clean support each other.. The benefits are tremendous.. Dig deep James Kim the fight continues with Courage and Strength one minute at a time....
WOW....congratulations the both of you. You know we are all proud of you both. 7 days is an amazing achievement.I'm doing the happy dance for ya's too (the Highland fling, lol). =)
Wow, wow, wow!! 7 days is HUGE....such a great mental accomplishment too. Cingrats and both of you hang in there!!
James, I have been following you and Kim since I stopped Saturday. I have been through the same w/d and would have never made it without you. The fact that you have beaten a 14 year h addiction, and sharing your journey from the freedom of opiates, has inspired me more than anything could have. Barbara
Whoooo Hoooo Sara is going to have to join me in this Happy Dance :)) 7 days james !!! You and kim both have showed incredible strength... These next few weeks are going to offer up craving but you both lean on each other and the forum OK.. I know the physical is not over but lets hope the worst is behind you.. So proud.. lesa
Most of us here remember your last 6 days, lol. I don't think you realize this, but you have helped many on here by reading your story, in fact last night you helped me so much when i was craving and came on and read your post and see how strong you have been, it made me stronger. The cravings are gonna be strong for awhile and we can talk about that soon, but you need to keep getting better and keep clinging to this forum, we are here 24 hours a day. Congrats, you have made us all proud. cheers.

WHOO HOO! Congrats on 7 days.. I am sure the first week is quite vivid in your minds. Hang on to that misery - it will help in times of craving (it did for me). Work your recovery every day. Very proud of you both. And congrats on NOT scoring last night. Well done.
