Nothing gets better overnight. Drug withdrawal, like anything else, takes time. You have to take it one step at a time and each step must be a little stronger than the one before. Too many times someone gives up when the very next step could be the one that propels you to where you want to be. In withdrawal there can be no such prase as ," I give up." losing momentum means doing it all over again when, if you had just taken that extra step, you could have been at the point of no return. You have to make each step meaningful. You have more strength and willpower than you realize, this I know from experience. Reach down into the depths of your soul and bring out that determination that you have been hiding. I imagine that at some time or another you have done exactly that. Maybe not in withdrawal but in other aspects of your life. Getting a job, passing a test, hitting that fast ball, taking that frst skate, getting a strike while bowling. The list goes on and on. Everythng you do that you have never done before requires concentration and effort. Why not in withdrawal? Take what you have learned from other things and put it to use in getting to where you want to be. You can't make it? Baloney! I don't believe it. How else did you get through life before this? You want to be a winner? Then get out there and win.
