Percocet

If I took one. 5 mg. percocet on 9/8 and did a drug screening at work on 9/21 and it came back positive is this possible? I also did another instant urine on 9/23 and that came back negative. Can the drug company be wrong? Which results are right.  Also took Ibeprophen 500 & amoxacillan on 9/11. Someone please give me some good news my job of 18 yrs. depends on it.

I have no idea how this could've happened -- but you might want to speak with someone at your job regarding this matter. That would be the best route to go at this point and time. Just explain to them what is going on, and if you've been there for that long they should have trust within you right now.

nurseone is right there is no way the percocet came up.  the methadone would show up if your on it. but if your on methadone i dont know why you would take percocet, depending on your dose it wouldnt have an analgesic affect.

There is no way that a drug screen would come back positive after 13 days on one percocet. Especially just one 5mg tablet. They stay in your system for up to 3 days  I use to take them and test negative 24 hours later. It depends on how much you are taking and how often but not even heavy usage would stay in your system for that long.
