Just curious...do any of you attend Bonnaroo in June?

bonnaroo is tha ****...i went 03-05...havent been in 2 years...but i think im gonna go this year.....im a widespread panic fan they wont be there this year but ALOT of great bands play.....it it a life changing experience...alot of fun

We are looking forward to it.  We do not care for the drugs at all...but heard it was a great experience.  We enjoy art very much as well as live music....and hippies -
We thought it would be awesome if any of you guys end up going...let us know!!!

Never heard of Bonaroo and though I was the only one clueless about.  I AM going to two concerts though, and that's just so far....one in April, one in June.  Seriously looking forward to 'em.  I often go out on a Friday night with the husband to eat somewhere with live, good, music, not muzak.  Couldn't live without the stuff.

I went to Bonnaroo the first year they put it on and have been back twice since.  It is a great time.  Believe or not, I didn't do drugs then.  Hell, it was to hot to even drink during the day. There are plenty of drugs there, any kind you want.   I would say that if you like the bands playing, you should go.  It is once in a lifetime thing.  Also, North Mississippi Allstars are a great band.  They just released a new album, called Heranando.  Anyway, music (particularly this type of music) is my thing.  Love it.

Phil Lesh & friends will be there!  I am pretty psyched about that!

AND...Robert Plant will be there and so will 1 other member of LedZepp there is some speculation of a show.  Everyone felt it would not be announced until later.  That would be awesome.

I am not familiar with it...as I am not familiar with most of the artists there...but listening to the Bonnaroo radio...sounds like some great music.
I will try to check that out...thanks.  Is it mellow?  As I get older...I think some music is yelling at me!  Metallica is going to be there, which is kinda odd from what I hear...I always liked Metallica but that yelling thing comes into play again!  
Since methadone, I feel my sense of humor is not what it used to be, I hope all of this returns and I will be able to enjoy the Bonnaroo experience and not act like an old b*tch!  Man, I never thought I would turn so uncool!

I know Bonnaroo.. Never been there but i got a kick *** cd called The North Mississippi All Stars Live at Bonnaroo and it Kicks *** !Luther Dickinson is a great guitarist! I know the area though I used to Live in Bristol, VA and traveled most of TN when i played baseball as a youth! The Good old days! of Biscuits and gravy for breakfeast! I miss em

Ok, I haven't been either!!!  I have a couple of friends who alwys go and this year that is our 'long term goal' - hey...3 months is long term when you are feeling bad - I know you all know that!
It is in Manchester, TN - it is a 3 day music & arts festival - a peaceful event- they have a website...I just cannot get off this one long enough!!!  My friend said 'have you checked out the Bonnaroo site, I am like...no I ahve been busy!  lol
I told her that I posted to ask if any of you go...she said hopefully no one would be offended...apparently there are some drugs there (as everywhere) but we are NOT into that aspect AT ALL.  You guys have read enough of my posts to know I would never intentionally create a 'trigger'...
