Can I be addicted to tramadol?

I have taken about 2 to 3 50 mg tramadol pills a night for the last 5 days. If I stop now will I suffer withdrawls?
Thanks for your help.

How long were you taking these pills?  How many a day?

You should be okay, but put them down ASAP and don't look back. My father has been on 1-2 50mg tabs a day for a couple of years and is addicted. Like the other poster said you should be okay, but even if you have a few mild symptoms, better to lay this stuff down. Yuck! I regret the day I ever put one in my mouth!

I think with that small of an amount for that short of a time you should see very little to no withdrawl symptoms.  Tramadol is a nasty nasty drug.  I am currently a little over 3 months off of the stuff after over 5 yrs of taking it.  I suggest stopping now if you can because it is pure hell coming off of once you are addicted or have developed a tolerance to it.  If you do experience anything out of the ordinary once you stop them such as tummy issues or restless legs etc., be sure and post about it because there are suggestions to help with that.  But you should probaby have dodged the bullet with this stopping so soon with a low dose.  Take care and all my best!  Blessings, Lisa
