Can you mix methadone and tramadol?

HI, I normally take 120 mgs of methadone daily ( been clean off opiates or over 6 months now), take 2mgs of Klonopins daily, and 50 to 100mgs of phenergan (promethazine or promethazine hyrochloride, ) ,  AND 0.2 mgs of Chlonodine a day,. . . . .AND, 200mgs oF seroquel ( but only used for sleep.  Im prescribed all the meds so this pill i found which i knew was a Tramadol/Ultram 50 mgs.  Is that safe?   The only interaction that i am worried about is the methadone.  I was kinda bad and gave all all my klonopins to a friend (at the time she needed it, but I do have seizures so i must take benzo's),   All i had let was 1.5 mgs of Klonopin, 0.2mgs Chlonodine, 1 mg ativan (another pill i found with the tramadol)., the 200mg Seroquel  ( well right now, i cut them in  half i i dont need it),  Its hard to pee at the clinic when they have the random urins, and that 50 mg Tramadol.  I really want to know iit will work, its a waste, or will it sent me into withfdraws??? Pleae try to get back to me asap.  I keep staring at the thingl  please respomd quicly.  Thank ou,

You're not clean off opiates if you take a whopping 12 ten Mg methadone a day. I'm a tolerant user, and that's WAY more than I take daily. Btw I took 5 tramadol and 2 methadone today, and it didn't send me into withdrawal. That whole line is a bunch a bull she©#. But yeah, just toss the trammy, you're already on too much to be''quitting''

I read your post and i am in tears. I know that sympathy is not what you are looking for but relief. I am currently on tramadol. About 300 milligrams a day. And have been taking them for 13 years. I take them for carpal tunnel syndrome. I have also taken xanax. For around 10 years. 1 milligram 3 tid. I got off the xanax due to pregnancy with no problems whatsoever. Now, on the other hand, the tramadol are absolutely CONTROLLING my life. I know of 3 other women that also are in the same boat. I cannot express to you the benefits of the tramadol. They work like magic. ABSOLUTE MAGIC. They work as an SSRI, and a synthetic opiate. And while I am telling you the benefits, I am at the same time expressing to you that the withdrawals are so unbearable that they have caused me to miss class (college), by the way, I am a 38 year old mother of 5 children that mean the WORLD TO ME. The tramadol has given me the ability to juggle a new born, a toddler, a DIVORCE, a BSE, full time job, and a beautiful house. And yes, I am a highly intelligent, motivated person. And I am telling you that the tramadol was a MIRACLE DRUG. Now, I'll tell you that If you need relief from pain, and at the same time, relief from depression and to be CLEAR headed.... TRAMADOL will be your best friend. (i take 200 milligrams in the a.m. and no need for another dose as they are extremely long actiing). Having said this, if you do not want to suffer the worst form of withdrawal (the antidepressant) ....they will be your worst ENEMY. It appears that you have a long term need for the pain med. and an antidepressant wouldn't hurt in your circumstances. I read your post and could not help myself from telling you about this medication. I don't think that access to the drug is going to be a problem at all for you. It is totally up to you to give it a try. I have expressed my concerns as far as the withdrawal. But you are on methadone. So I really don't think it could hurt you to try them. They very well could make a huge difference in the quality of your life. It seems as though you are making a call out for help. And that is the reason for my reply. Again, one 50 milligram tablet is about the equivalent to like a .25 milligram xanax. (just to give you an idea). So i take 200 milligrams of the tramadol all at once only in the morning. They last all day. And they do not affect your judgement AT ALL. PERIOD. Sounds to me like this is your drug.

It's saved lots of lives and marriages I'm glad, some of my friends are living now instead of dead because of Methdone therapy.                             The chalky Magnesium/Calcium Carbonate ant-acid are much safer for heartburn ESPECIALLY for Methdone patients. Zantac ranitidine will ruin your day. Why dont you eat better. refrain from heavy Foods,Red Meat,fast food and anything fried in that cheap hydrogenated oil That is what causes heart-burn in the first place and 3 other things tobacco; especially cigars,alcohol especially wine and liquor and finally lying down opens up a working stomach so wait until it digests. If youre on 120 mg methadone you guys are in no way clean and sober. I feel sorry for you for what's ahead. they won't give it you in jail so let them kill you instead of capture you. There is nothing in the world as addictive as methadone and 120 mgs is pretty much the Max allowable dose. To get off you've got to space it out gradually dose,skip 1 day, dose skip 2 days and drop 10 mg per week until your done then take a suboxzone or sub-tex 48 hours after your last methadone dose  then some small maintainance ,but just one week of this final therapy: Sboxzone, Sub-tex ,buphenepherine

Being on Klonopin for extended periods ecpecially when taken for seizures. What you are doing is dangerous in several instances. Here is an example, I myself have been on Klonopin for 3 years. I also have Hep C which is a disease that effects my live & since Klonopin is metabo'd in the liver I asked my Dr. to switch me to Ativan because it is metabo'd in the  kidneys. What I did not know is that Klonopin has a 30- 60 hr half life while Ativan has only a 10- 20. Needless to say I went into benzo withdrawl syndrome. Seziure, hallucinations, weakness, life threatening withdrawl so I would recommend that you find a way to replace your Klonopin O forget about the tramadol before you find yourself in some real trouble. Hi Triska I hadon't the same prob I would get bad heart burn and ulcers I started the garcinia cambogia and vinegar(with the mother) u only need 2 tsp of the vinegar and a lil over a cup of water to dilute it then take 2 garcinia down with it itso good for all around health problems but it completely took my heart burn away! Hope this helps..also ginger or lemon peal are not only natural but wrk wonders fr heart burn the ginger is also a natural pain killer..

i took 150 mg of Tramadol and 25 mg.of methadone for about 3 years..no withdrawal from Methadone precipitated by the Ultram for me, but everyone is different..in fact in the beginning,the Methadone-Ultram combo was the best high i ever had,but it never lasts and you end up chasing the monkey[high] till you die if you don't get clean..
the constipation,as all opiate addicts know all to well,becomes unbearably uncomfortable and dangerous as toxins/bacteria/fecal matter build up in your gut instead of being eliminated timely as you try every laxative known to man..Casara Sagrada is the ONLY thing[herb] that kept me semi regular..
my advice? DON'T MIX UM TOGETHER..get off all opiates now before they ruin you[check yourself b 4 ya wreck yourself] and then prematurely kill you..i did 5 rehabs between 2000-2012...the first 4 were traditional BS and 2 of them put me on "Subuxone/Subutex/buphenephrine therapy" which is just a more powerful opiate and will keep you firmly hooked on opiates for their bosses/rulers owners over at big pharma as most rehab centers ARE OWNED BY BIG PHARMA INTERESTS!.. i finally got my *** up to RDD in Michigan 2 weeks ago and did rapid detox with Naltrexone therapy and it works..still ain't no picnic afterward but it can be done and miles ahead of traditional rehab centers,

my opiate use history:
2003-2006 Morphine & Morphine Contin daily as prescribed by pain doc
2006-2012  30 mg.Methadone daily as prescribed by pain doc
2009-2012 mixed Methadone & 150-200 mg. Ultram/Tramadol daily each morning[ not presribed]

why RDD in Michigan?
