accidental withdrawal

Well I have been on all types of pain meds. since 2002 I'm female and 57 I got hurt working in construction. I didn't notice till Friday but my Dr. lowered my methadone from 70mls to 50mls and didn't say anything to me but I kept taking the same till dose till I noticed I didn't have as much medication well now I can only take 30mls a day and I am going to try and just get off the crap after this. It's always something with the drs. Well I was wanting to know should I experience w/d's going to this low of a dose? Today is my second day at 30mls and I don't feel well at all. I have been taking the 70mls. of methadone for about 4 yrs. now

I can say the lower your dose the smoother the withdrawal will be, however from my past uses, no matter how low I ever got there is always some withdrawal. I could never find a way to get off scott free but it will be bearable and much more comfortable. I'm sure you will be able to make it through this.
