Where did you get your stuff. What you are experiencing is probably not of the shabu use. If you've only tried it a few times.

Shabu is not the dirty crystal meth (methamphetamine hydrochloride). Both are speed drugs. Shabu (dextromethamphetamine) is the purer methamphetamine. crystal meth is 10 to 20 percent meth. Shabu is closer to 100%. More potent, some crystal users get overwhelmed when they tried shabs. But does not have the side effects to crystal. Like sores, tooth decay, etc. Crystal makes you ugly. Shabs, make you look better, so some would say. :)

I was a shabu addict in for 3 years. Way back in 1995. I am from the Philippines, but now live in Maryland. I would use shabs more that 3 times a week (over three years) when I was addicted. I have been clean for almost 20 years now. I am 45 years old and do not have any "kicking" whatsoever. Don't get me wrong. The stuff is VERY BAD for you. I am blessed to have overcome my addiction. I did it through the help of going through a halfway house called "The House of Hope" in Cebu, Philippines. It is a Christian halfway house that helps save lives.

I know its effects are not the same for all people. I do not know if it will take its toll when I am older.

Oh man...this crap is bad news. It's cut and produced with all poisonous chemicals. It plays havoc with your nervous system in a big way and that's what you're noticing now.

The best thing for you to do is to get to a doctor and explain everything. Be completely honest. And don't touch the junk again!

Good luck!

I had a hard time understanding your post but one thing that is clear is that you are messing with some really bad stuff. If you can't stop you need to go to an inpatient facility and get off it. This is extremely toxic stuff and you are literally poisoning yourself to death. The damage its doing to your brain, central nervous system etc is horrible and not worth the high you get. There is a lot of help here for you. You should talk to your doctor and tell him what your doing, you need to be examined and have your health looked after. This is scary stuff and I pray you stop right away and get help please before it's too late.

"Shabu" was a new one on me so I had to look it up.  (Yeah, I'm old.)  Shabu appears to be the Filipino word for methamphetamine - the legal counterparts known as dexedrine or methadrine.  The stuff is freakin' poison.  Everything that goes into the final product has a skull and crossbones on the label, including the nail-polish remover it's boiled in.  Street meth has all kinds of other junk cut into it that can be even worse than the pure molecule.

Crane, you have to stop using this junk.  Keep using and you will die from it.  I could give you a whole long list of reasons for you to save your very young life, but YOU have to list those reasons out yourself.  Is a couple hours of being high worth your very life?  Is tweaking out and the distinct possibility of taking someone else out with you worth it?  Is it worth watching your teeth fall out of your mouth as you continue using?  It happens.

Can you tell us WHY you started using this stuff?  Have you ever tried to stop?  If so, what caused you to relapse?  Nobody here will judge for your failures.  We WILL help you to quit and stay that way.  Please talk to us!  :-)

I don't know where you are getting Shabu in this day and age but it is very dangerous. There is no way to taper from this, you have to stop. I want you to understand it is deadly and can, and will, kill you. If there is anyway you can get yourself into in-patient treatment, please do so.
