Codine addition

There is no way out. Believe me I have been trying for 15 years. I never even asked for the drug they gave me it in hospital to stop my pain . I was not told that it was additive and. Now I ask for help they are just not interested,..when you realise who owns these companies it will all start to make sense. More u want the more money there making. I have gone. As far as locking myself in a bedroom but the pain of withdrawal is so intense you would kill to feel better. It ruins your life your family your finances your job, and slowly kills your body bit by bit. Like ethnic cleansing or population control you will all eventually die.

Sorry, but I think you are wrong.  There IS a way out.  I took oxycodone; much stronger than codeine, and I took it for a long, long time.  I went through the withdrawals cold-turkey.  I may have FELT like i was going to die, but I DIDN'T.  And neither will you.

You're thinking with an addict brain; it isn't rational, hon.   I know these words may be harsh, but they are true.    Lots and lots of people find the way out.

If you want it bad enough, you'll find it.  Keep talking...

I want you to know that there IS a way out. There is Absolutely a way out. I felt just like you, my friend.
Drug addiction is the hardest thing I believe anyone could ever go through, and deal with, and get out of. It takes a HELL of a person to do so.
I believe in you.
I am here.
You can message me on here anytime if you like.
Yes, companies do make money from you... and that is the terrible thing, because it's what they care about. But right now, this is about you. It's not about them. It's about you getting out of this... and the interesting thing is, you don't have to blame yourself, like most addicts I've known. Your journey will be a long one. One of the most important things is getting a good system of support around you to help you accomplish your goal of getting out (friends, family, other sources). I went to (and still go to) individual counseling, and it has made a world of difference in me. I was taught me to live again. How to communicate. How to feel again. I found myself again. To this day, I think about drugs everyday. Drug use changed me, and is a part of me forever. But I wanted it, I wanted my life so bad. I wish you the best of luck in your RECOVERY... because I know you can do it. Don't give up. Never give up on your life. It's the biggest mistake you could ever make.
