Ok 17 hrs and guess I'm starting the wds feel like ****!!! But I have too move on I think I can do it. No more norcos!!!!
I sure will!! And thanks to all here we go!!!!!!
Not much to add that other haven't said. Just prepare for WD's by getting the supplies mentioned above (Gatorade, Imodium, Epson salt for baths, protein drinks, vitamins/minerals). Then, you may be one of the very lucky few who don't get any WD's.
You are on the right path. You will ever regret getting clean!
Best of luck to you. Keep posting and let us know how u r doing!
Well all the folks posting to you are the same ones that dragged me thru this last week. And yes I say dragged. Thomas recipe, stay on this site, go to every an meeting u can and ur the dark walk dead tunnel u r in right now comes to an end. There's light ahead. I have no clue yet how to actually function but stick around. These people know what the hell they are talkin about.
Hi well I agree with the others a lot depends on how much you used your age and how long....it is the length of time that maters the most and 2yr is long enough to get hooked the main thing here is prepare yourself get a case of gatoraid and force the fluids this is 1/3 phyical and 2/3 mental so be ready to fight on both fronts I say this a lot but ''you just got to be ok without being ok for a wile'' you can and will get threw this also a hot soak with epsom salt will help the restless legs and calm most of the other symptoms you may need several a day keep posting for support..............Gnarly...............................
I agree....I do believe it's going to depend on how many/much you took per day? I wonder though, why you would think you wouldn't have any w/d?
In 2 years, I have seen about 4 people have no withdrawals at all, or slight stomach upset with some tossing and turning while sleeping. It happens and I think it depends on how much, how long, what you took, and your age and general health. It is also easiest to quit the first time, maybe you will be one of the no withdrawal people, I hope so. Don't think it will be that way every time, it gets harder with time and each effort to quit, so get some support to stay clean. Keep us posted.
I am pretty sure you will. I started cold turkey Tuesday evening after almost a year on Norco and I had withdrawals 15 hrs later. Crying, sweating, RLS, chills, insomnia, and depression. But I started the Thomas Method and it really seems to help a lot. I also started Valerian Root last night and that I think helped me sleep all night and eased the restless leg. But I know everyone is different. I wish you the best of luck. This is a horrible thing to go through.
