You mentioned 2 great ways to cope. Meetings and prayer. Fresh out of detox (whether you did it at home or in patient) your feelings are raw and your nerves are irritable. This WILL go away! I promise. You have been so used to being numb from the drugs, that now w/o them and being numb you are actually "feeling" all those emotions and anxiety's. When I would feel this way right before I had something really important I would pray in my car right before going in. I'd tell myself "All I have to do is get through the next hour (or 2hr or 3hr). I would go in, and focus only on THAT meeting. I'd let everything else take care of itself for that period of time.
