Kudos for you on for your 12 days! The lack of energy was so difficult with work and home responsibilities. However, these same distractions helped me mentally as it took my mind off of the drugs for a bit. I have this great natural food store by my house and the owner is very knowledgeable and gave me some suggestions in addition to all of the great advice at MH. I found that drinking protein shakes with my vitamins in the morning helped with the energy. Totally agree with Motye and others on the Emergen C. Not sure if you are having issues sleeping (rls) that adds to the lack of energy, but I use a powder mix called Natural Calm which is a relaxing magnesium supplement to help me sleep. And also completely took the advice of others to try and exercise, even if it meant a walk around the block in the 0 degree temps. You are doing great - keep it up and the energy will come back with time!
I hear ya with the no energy. Here are a few things i found helped me. The l-tyrosine and b6 combination (up to 4000b mg a day) helped, good multivitamin, vit C crystals mixed w/ water, emergen c and excercise. I didn't have the strength to get up and excercise the first couple of weeks but as soon as u can, do it. Even if just for a few minutes, it does help. And realize that the lack of energy is normal, and will pass, i didn't think it ever would, but it did. Good luck and keep pushing forward! BTW, the l-tyrsine i got at gnc...i didn't see it at the regular drugstore.
I will keep you in my prayers. Stay strong! Im only breaking into day 4, so im not as far as you but ive been assured that the best thing to do is push through it and take it a min at a time!
I just wanted to say way to go travel on your 12 days ( I usually watch from the sidelines ---->) but you have been doing so good and are you taking your vitamins? Don't give up your energy and sleep will come rooting for you ...lizzy
