although i feel the need to go to a meeting i have to admit that to me this forum works like nothing else. i just got in from work and just by checking in here, i feel like im getting the aftercare i need. although i can't give advice about pills and stuff, and not many share my DOC, i still can relate to what ya'll say. the good thing about this forum is that it's here 24 hours a  day and i can wear my pajama's, lol. anyway for some reason i felt like superman again today, maybe the coke is finally out of my system and my head is cleared again. one good thing about my tiny bump, is that i remember again how awful that lifestyle really was, coming down off coke is hell, but i had this forum that day and all i know is there is no way i could have showed up to an N/A meeting in the shape i was, dont' get me wrong, i'm all for N/A and AA, they are wonderful support groups, but to me, this site WORKS. ok so im on day 5 now, my god, that is painful to say, but the truth. why is it so much easier this time?

I agree with you 100% about this forum, it has saved me too, but honestly it's people like you that make this forum such a warm wonderful place to come.
You ask why it's easier this time.....well I think it's because you've seen the way life is without coke and using it only made your world feel black. Congradulations on the 5 days clean and it won't be long until that 5 days becomes 5 months again, but what's really important is that you're clean, now that's a beautiful thing.
Good luck with your golfing game!! A friend of mine invited me to go boating this weekend so I think I will take him up on the offer.

Yes, this forum was the best therapy I found. It's a little different now but there are still some wonderful peeps and friends here that keep me checking back.

I am going to go bowling. But it will be on a 2 day cruise. LOL Leaves Seattle for 2 nites and comes back. Called a cruise to nowhere. I think they do them out of NY too.

yes it's golfing time, although this week we got hit with a cold snap. it has been between 46 and 50 here for past couple days, brrrrrrr. im playing this weekend, temps back in the 70's. i missed it.
