This is great n now I have tears of joy for u. You have been a blessing to me n so many others. You have touched my life n a way that I can not put into words. You have pi $$ ed me off n a way I can not put into words. Lol. You have place n my heart n mind always. There were so many lonely nights where I struggled with life n there u were. When I lost my step dad u were there to walk me thru it all. Even gave me the right words to say when I left the casket. "See ya later" which I used n other funerals to follow. I can go on n on. I am a better person for having known u. I've been blessed by u my fran. :) I love u to the moon n back.

I couldn't describe you any better....except maybe to add calling you my "iron marshmallow" friend. And yes, you ALWAYS manage to say in 5 words what it takes me 50 (ok...dang, it's an honest program....500) words to say!!!!
I noticed in your post for Addict3 yesterday that you describe him the very same way Lesa describes you......so it is probably true that we are drawn to those people that reflect a part of us that we may not have even discovered yet. You said he was "gentle but firm"......and Lesa said you were "firm but kind". Though I am irritatingly more detailed.....I am a straight shooter too.....and I need/like people to deal with me the same way. It may hurt to hear the truth....but I NEED to hear it.....addiction is a deadly disease with no happy endings.....and I'm just jazzed that you have chosen to stay around here investing your time, heart and wisdom into the lives of addicts that still suffer. I appreciate you....and love being able to call you my friend. Here's to many, many more years....hard earned...one day at a time~
