Dry thinning hair from oxycodone.

I have been taking 20mg Oxycodone a day for almost 8 years. I have noticed my hair started to thin out, about 1/3 of my hair has been falling out in the past 3 years. With No pattern baldness, also my hair is dry. I am 65 years old.  There is No type of baldness in my family or on my mother's or father's side. I can see broken and small hairs where it looks thin. Will it grow back after I stop taking oxycodone, and how long will I notice some results?   Thank You.   Rc Cola

I'm haven't heard of a link between Oxycodone use and hair loss.  I googled it and didn't see anything indicating that the two are related either.
