how to get off perchcets at home

iam fed up with my opiet addition and want to stop but cannot go to a detox or hospital . i don't have insurance and i have a wife and child to takecare of cannot be gone for weeks. i need any help i can get

this can be done at home//many here have done so including me///i work and a stressful job..took a 4 day weekend and felt flu-like for 3-4 days//but have worked feeling much worse but used my vacation time to get this done in peace///what is ur dose? the peeps here r great plus lots of info in the health pages

How much are you taking?  Are you only taking percocet?

Hi sorry to here of your problems but you could go cold turkey (as i am doing now 4 days heroin free) or you could try tapering ( cutting down your tablets slowly at your own pace). what are you addicted too and how much do you use.If you could give us a bit more info im sure we could help you here. I was over 200 days clean before i relapsed a few weeks ago and i got that clean time with the help of people on MH ,,,,,,,,James

do you have any percs left that maybe you can taper  if not then we need to go cold turkey that is agood way also it takes some hard work last about 4 to 5 days mian thing is to get famly on board also get to some aa meetings there tools that other people have tried on this site imodium, ib profin for body aches, hot showers, stay active it hard when you ache but takes your mind offthings
