Intro

Hi all, I had posted a question about Elimidrol but thought I'd officially introduce myself. I'm a 40 year old female that is currently working to get off Norco 10's. I've been taking them or some form of hydro for about 6 months. I have lower back issues and sciatic pain. I've worked myself up to 8/day and take Soma a couple times per day. I'm tired of waking up in sweats and anxiety because it's been 8 hours or more since my last dose and tired of being dependent on them.

5 years ago I withdraweled off of tramadol/ultram which was the worse and lowest time of my life. I'm scared to death of when I have no pills left. I have enough to taper for a couple more weeks. I ordered Elimidrol praying it's going to work. I have 3 girls and a husband that works long hours.

I'm so pissed at myself for getting here again... And depressed at what's to come.....

Thank you for your replies!! I had to leave my children and husband and stay with my mother for 2 weeks to get through the ultram withdrawals. It was something words cannot even begin to explain. It's so good to hear the hydro withdrawal shouldn't be as bad. I'm still on the tapering schedule but should have the Elimidrol in tomorrow afternoon. Seriously thinking about handing my pills over to my mom (she's the only one that knows) and going for it.

Good news for you! Six months of hydros will be WAY easier than Ultram. If you immediately cut your dosage and keep doing so in a few weeks you'll skate off! No problem! Use the Thomas Recipe, take Imodium and lots of hot baths. You got this!

I've read good things about the elimidrol. It seems to do its job well which is reduce wd symptoms. As far as mental support we are here for you. Please read and ask away. From my 5 or so years of following this site the tram wd are rough and if u make it through those the Norco wd should be uncomfortable at least but you'll make it and feel so much better on the other side.

Welcome to you girl!  The beauty of MH is that there are so many folks who can share their addiction journey and the variety of recovery options!  You are in a great place to begin and share your journey.  We can all learn from one another....what works for one may not work for the next but we can all share.  What we have in common is that this is a "we" thing....no reason to go it alone as that gets you nowhere.
If you need anything, just holler...in the mean time keep posting girl!
We will be here to support and encourage you.
Prayers out!
