Four...count em'...FOUR weeks today!! :)

Hey all! Been a long day and felt like I needed to check in with my buddies. So today is my four weeks off methadone...that evil sh*t...hate that stuff. I've never been more at ease with any other decision I've made in my life...choosing to be clean has probably saved my life...and my marriage! But darn I wish it wasn't so hard and painful. Unbelievable it can still be this bad at 4 weeks. Leg pain today was more than I could handle. It finally had me so crazy that I even took my 7 1/2ft Christmas tree down...lol. I thought getting up and moving around would help but got halfway thru getting it done and wondered WTH I was thinking!!?? It most certainly didn't look like a three hour adventure...I shoulda left it up for valentines day...why not right? Lol!!

So anyway...enough rambling...I am gonna pray...hard...that I get a few hours sleep tonight...I'd be happy with even 3-4hrs but I'll take what I get. Wish me luck friends!! Lol. Hope y'all had a clean and beautiful day today :)

And Weaver, I have been hungry as a horse through this whole thing...from my first day detoxing! I simply cannot get enough to eat now...lol. I'm eating at least twice a day now which is very good for me, and sometimes I eat more than that. I've already gained 5lbs since starting detox. Funny huh! Maybe I'm just weird, but I didn't have any issues of nausea or vomiting except for getting a migraine the other day. I'm thankful for this part of it anyway!!

Holy shizzle!! I went to bed at about midnight  and didn't get up til 5:20 am! Of course I got woke woke  up a couple times by the kids because The puppy was crying...evidently they think I'm her mother...lol...but regardless of being woke up, I was able to go back to sleep. It's amazing how good you feel upon waking when you've actually gotten a few hours sleep! Ahhhhh!!!

4 weeks is so frickin huge!!!  Pat yourself on the back as you have come so far.  Each day will get better.

My tree has been down for a few weeks now but I have to do it as the other members of my family just simply wouldnt get it right!!   They dont decorate it right either, same colored bulbs all grouped together, other ornaments not spread out properly, candy canes not evenly spaced and the bows....oh they just kill that!!  I dont have any control issues!!  lol

Sometime shortly after a month I slept too late and simply couldn't stop eating. Just a little something to look forward to.

From what I've heard, you should be given your choice of a medal or a monument from coming off methadone. I know it ***** still and I'm sorry, just wanted to say congratulations and keep it up :)

Lol!! I have looked at that thing for weeks now, wanting to take it down but didn't have the energy...or the motivation! And I wanted to be the one to take it down because I have lots of ornaments and lights that I pack in certain ways and in certain boxes. But I got it!! After three plus hours. And yep...be time to put it back up before ya know it! Lol. Thanks guys ;) staying strong!!

Taking your Christmas tree down?  It's almost the 4th of July...lol.  OK...you are officially worse than me..lol!!

Congrats on your 4 weeks.  You worked hard for it...now get some sleep.  It's almost time to put the tree up again..lol!

Hey that's great to hear congrats on 4 weeks and keep up that great attitude. One thing though please grt some aftercare as it makes all the difference in staying clean. Great job you should be very proud of yourself as we all here are of you.
