suboxone

I'am taking suboxone film 3 times a day ONE. I was advised on another post that I should take my 3rd dosage at night before I go to bed. That way I'd have a jumpstart in the morning... any advise? (I have been on Suboxone for approx 3wks)

Are you on 3 8mg films daily?? I definitely agree with the above posts. suboxone is supposed to be a daily dose. When I was on Suboxone I Had to split my film in half because I has side effects taking it all at once but that was through trial and error with my doctor. I would definitely speak to your doctor. Also, 3 whole films a day of 8 mg is ALOT of Suboxone. You didn't mention your dose but if it's 8 mg each that is really a large amount.

Nursegirl is right, you shouldn't need to take multiple doses of Suboxone! I would ask advice from your Dr on trying to get it down to one dose daily, this way when you taper and get low you'll find the going so much easier! Hope you find your way out, best of luck to you, ;)

This is something you need to discuss with your doctor.  Suboxone doesn't really require multiple dosing, and actually people very frequently develop mental hang ups about those subsequent daily doses when it's time to taper, they have a hard time eliminating those multiple doses.

Subxone can be taken in one dose daily.  Some initially DO split the doses up to minimize any side effects, but if you can tolerate the whole daily dose taken once a day, then I would recommend asking your doc about it.

Good luck!
