has anyone taken percocet near the end of pregnancy...outcome

Hi I was wondering if anyone can share their story if they have taken percocet their whole pregnsncy or like the last Coue of months pretty much everyday. I've been taking about 15mg a day for a month and a half and give birth in 3 weeks and was seeing if that is low enough dose for baby to not be addicted

The ONLY reason I asked was to understand your situation better. Best of luck!

Unfortunately, there is no way to give you a cut and dry black and white answer to your question.  15mg a day for a month in a half certainly IS long enough to cause dependency and w/d. but everyone is different, especially newborns.  The important thing is that your doctor is aware so that extra care can be taken to watch the baby for any signs of w/d.  Hopefully he/she won't experience any.  Just keep communicating with your doc, and always be honest with him/her about exactly how much you're taking.

Good luck to you, best wishes for an uneventful delivery!!

Are u under a doctors care? Does your obgyn know you take this medication? If so, have you discussed your concerns with her?
