It is shocking how doctors prescribe Benzo's.
For your seizures people can try a diet high in fat and protein but low in carbohydrates, this will convert your body to a state of Ketosis which will and as a result will fix up your Seizure Threshold.

Ask your Doctor about this and ask him why he resorted straight to pharmacological meds.
Interesting Fact: George Bush has share in Roche the company that makes Valium and Xanax, he then went to the FDA and made laws that made the drug more available.
your doing really well, im glad your feeling a little better, leveling out on 2.5 is a good dose, and when you jump off the worst will be over, god bless,
Thank you. Back on the 2.5mg and feeling much better this afternoon although had a rough morning. Hoping to get off completely in the next few months. Nasty withdrawal !
hi and welcome, yes valium withdrawal has to be taken slowly, as with any benzo. the stomache cramps etc your describing were the withdrawal symptoms,if you come off them slowly it stops the risk of seizures from it, i am addicted to benzos, and in recovery now, it took me a few attempts before i stopped, you will get there, your first taper was too fast, so your dr. is being careful this time.everyone is different , so each taper plan varies, your 4 days into having no valium was giving you normal withdrawal symptoms, they cant be totally avoided , you felt it because you got to 10mg, and had to drop your dose, you wont feel much better until the valium level evens out in your body, and when your dr. takes you totally off them you will feel slight withdrawals, but they wont last too long , you can do it , best wishes, sudie
hi dont no much about valium but dosent sound good,i would probably be looking for a second opinion or calling him back ,yeah with a chance of a seizuress definetly
