Two Weeks....

Today is two weeks with no pills. I am feeling much much better than I did the first week. I was doing good or so I thought. The stomach issues stopped on Sunday. Then yesterday it hit me again. I don't know why it's doing this. It's making me really upset and makes me think I wont get better. I don't want to have stomach issues anymore. It is the worst for me. My stomach hurts so bad and its so irritating. Can someone help me through this. I just want to feel better. I just don't understand. I am way excited that it is two weeks though... Makes me feel good. I take imodium (can't spell) but it doesn't really help. Can someone please give me some advice? Thanks.

Hey there!!!!,

I had a very big problem with the stomach as well...I hated it. I would throw up all day and then just have terrible cramps!!!  I thought I was Pregnant LMAO!!! I thought god was punishing me for taking the pills for so long hahaaaa!!!..Well just know this! It goes away and it will VERY VERY soon I promise!!!  You are doing AWESOME!!!  Just think, the summer is coming and you will be pill free. You can live again without the crutch!!! Im pumped for you!!! Just keep pushing and know that its almost over!!! SMILE, you should be proud of yourself!!!!

You are doing great and I am at the 2 week mark also. Have had a few stomache flair ups also ( have IBS also ) peppermint candies like sw said does help lot with tummy issues. I found with the intestinal cramping a hot water bottle helped alot and really felt nice and soothing. Keep up the great work !!!!You are doing great!!! Heather

Yeah I remember that kind of thinking - that just one pill would solve all my problems.  And I couldn't have been more wrong.  Your brain is trying to trick you right now and you have to IGNORE it.  I know it's hard - my stomach problems stayed with me for a while too.  But look at it this way - it will be just a small "bleep" on the overall radar of your life what you're doing for yourself right now.  It will be.  And your body will eventually thank you for staying off of this crap for good, you'll see.  :)

No I haven't tried that. Yes I am taking a multi vitamin. One that you have to take 6 a day. I am eating okay and I drink a lot of water. I just hate this feeling. I mean I want to go out and do things but I can't because of my stupid stomach!!! I am so lost and don't know what to do. All I have been thinking about all morning is taking a stupid pill.

Kelz - I know what you are saying, it is a major hassle. Have you tried peppermint candies? It won't help with diarreah, but it is a natural soothing (and cheap) way to help settle your stomach. Fiber based foods would be my only other suggestion.
Are you taking vitamins? B, C, etc? Eating OK and drinking plenty of fluids?
It took about 3 weeks for me, miserable stuff. Your body is readjusting.
You are getting there, you should see marked improvement in the next week. Hang in there, it gets better, I promise.
