can norco/vic make periods stop?

I had a baby 9 mo. ago and am not sure if my periods are irregular from that or if pills can affect it? any thoughts?  I had 2 normal periods about 3 mo. after birth but now they are very irregular and they only last about a day or 2.

Oh! And whenever I did heavy percs, my period would be very irregular and on the short side.

I took 2 norco at 7......2 at 11.....1 at 12....but was feeling really anxious about the fact most days i would have had way more....I panicked and took 4....I know that was stupid!!!  I wasn't even feeling any w/d....just worried they were gonna start.  So I've had 9 today so far....I feel fine cuz I've had plenty....I could probably go till around 7 or 8 tonight before I felt like I needed some....just not sure if I'm strong enough to do it and have the self control.  I really appreciate your help!  Im so ashamed and embarassed about this whole thing but at least for the first time I'm talking about it.

LOL thank you I didnt get the message . I am concerned about the tylenol .so we will use the narcos first the when your numbers get lower the vics so we can get the APAP where it should be .how many have you taken so far today and how do you feel?

I left u a message but I'm new to this posting thing so thought I'd reply here to make sure you get it.  the vics say7.5/750.  I take more norco than vic....they had switched me to norco cuz they said it had less tylenol but that was back when I needed it...unlike now.

I was on lortabs 10s (15 a day) for 18 months after my daughter was born... I think I may have had 2-3 menstrual cycles in that time... I thought I was the only one who believes the lortabs may be to blame.... but at the same time, i kept thinking it may be my birth control (loestrin 24) so you could consider that as well if you're on it.... hope this helps...

sounds like a hormonal thing to me. i would deffinately check with your gyno and see if everything is normal.

Around our age is when they say pre-menopausal symptoms also start, it could me many things, I don't know if it is from using.
I would just go in and say you were just wondering if that is normal or if there may be something going on.

im 30.  i have 3 kids and after my first 2 my periods took a yr to start...i nursed for 7 mo.  this baby i only nursed for 3 mo.....after that is when my heavy usage started. so i figured periods would start back after few months but other than twice they have been pretty non existent....not pregnant either!!!  Guess i should ask my dr....but was hoping to get clean without telling her.

How old are you.  If the abuse is heavy, it may be possible.  Age, diet, having a baby , abuse of substances, bulimia, anorexia......lots of things can be going on.  I would bet its hormonal changes after the baby, I would do some research or talk to your ob/gyn.
