"Help Please!"

I currently am dating someone who has had past experience already with the suboxone film, & it was a great success to his horrid addiction to opiod pain killers. He was so badly addicted he was taking up to 20 or more percs, vics, morphine, etc, for his opiod addiction. He came across an outstanding doctor(Dr. Foster Easley, DO)with the (No Appointment MD, Family Medicine/HIV Specialist-medical office) located @ 1002 E. Medical Road,Phoenix, Ariozona 85006. He was a true doctor, following up w/patients, willing/understanding to see you on the truely bad withdrawl days, even if his days were booked out, and caring enough to make sure to give $45.00 off coupons! Seriously great MD. Problem he moved from the facility, and my boyfriend lost his job, & medical insurance, and means to funding his highly needed withdrawl med(suboxone film).
Well in this tuff fight to overcome the painkilling opiod addiction, together with a few caring free clinics able to prescribe a few sedatives etc.,without the suboxone film. We have truely been blessed enough to be able to work together to win this fight, that my boyfriend has successfully obtained a job, for the past 3months. Problem is he doesnt have medical insurance until his 6month period. So we are looking for some advice in regards to referring to us some good trusting/reliable doctor or medical facility who can/will accept individuals without insurance, yet have affordable medical payment plans, with licensed doctors, able to prescribe the (suboxone film), along with regards to office visits, follow-up appointments, and affordable prices with regards to the suboxone prescription film itself, yet

I'm a little confused. Has your bf been working 3 months without suboxone? How long ago was his last dose? How many mg sub was he taking, for how long? If it's been more than a couple weeks, I'd consider going to counseling and/or NA and leave the subs behind. The reason suboxone works for opiate addiction, it's also an opiate, the 2nd strongest one on the market. He will have to detox from the subs eventually. I used subs, don't get me wrong, it saved my life. I used them for 20 days, because long term use has never been clinically tested. They're not sure exactly what subs do to the brain over time. Some people have emotional problems for a year or more if they where on subs for years. All the drugs you mentioned he was taking are easier for most people to detox from. Just something to think about. Hope you find what works soon.
