60 days clean

60 days! What a ride. I feel like I've been at Disneyland for 2 months. Lots of ups and downs. Thank you everyone here for sharing your recovery with me. It's been extremely helpful to have this support. I get on this site every day and I know it's been a tremendous help to me. We're in this together, and we can stay clean together. Using isolated
me from everything. I had replaced all my favorite things with drugs. Now I'm slowly getting back into life and enjoying simple things again, without the need to get high. My back pain has become more and more manageable, and I'm seeking alternatives to narcotics to manage it long term. I have been in aftercare since the beginning, and I have to say that without it I might still be clean, but i know I would be CRAZY! it keeps me centered and focused on my number 1 priority every day...staying clean. To those of you who are just starting down this path or still lurking and considering jumping in, It's so worth it!  If I can do it, then so can you.

Excellent!!! I really have no words that will express adequately how happy I am for you. We are very close in our recovery time; I've read your posts over the past months and have found them both hauntingly familiar and very inspirational.  Keep up the good work. Stick around the forum because the new folks need to read stories like yours. Congrats.

It's been great sharing this journey with so many on this forum, I'm right behind you at 45 days and we've come this far - can't wait to you see you at 90, 120 and so on.

Your posts help me, comfort me and it's just good to know I'm not alone.  I am finding my pain more manageable, with some exceptions but I wouldn't trade it for anything.  I'll live with the pain I have sober as it is so much better than shackled to pills (that were not even helping any longer).

Congrats on 60 days, you should be so proud!!!!!!!!

Thank you all so much. We do this together here, and that's an awesome
thing!!! We do together what we cannot do alone. I'm going to keep doing what I've been doing and a big part of my recovery is this forum and all of you
who help me every day. We are truly a community here..that's what I really love about it.
