Also, you need to get as much antioxidants into your body, as you can. Another great supp i also used is coq10. The teas are packed with antioxidants as well. I ate so much Almonds and Walnuts again are packed with antioxidants : )

Oh good, my pharmacy lady recommended it to me back in my detox. Her friend used the spray when she lost her husband, she said it saved her sanity.
I hope so much it works for you.
Hang in there girl, congratulations on day 10-neally 11.
I hated early Sub recovery, it took every ounce of power and strength that i had to fight the mental part. But, so many things took the extreme edge off, i thought i was weak until i fought for my mental state of mind.
If you can hang in and beat this, i promise you, you can do anything.
Take lots of omega 3 supps, this will help your brain tremendously to recover quicker, vitamin C to support your immune system and i drank so much white and green tea like it was going out of fashion. This helps to detox all your toxins out much faster.
Stay with us girl, your doing incredible, much love xxx

I agree!with WalkTall...the anxiety for me did come in "waves" and if I was trying to supplement my lost energy with caffeinne, that made it way worse!  You just have to ride them out.  Music in my ears at all times, with upbeat, positive sounds really did help!  I listened to anthem type music to keep me fighting and moving forward.  I promise you, you won't stay like this, this is totally normal.  I came off of a pretty high dose of subs c/t in Jan, 2014 and looking back I can say it took me about 21 days for the physical, then another few weeks for the mental.  You just have to push yourself.  When you feel that wave come on....sit down, get a wet, cold rag and put it on the back of your neck, even blow into a paper bag, to make it calm down.  It's normal, normal, normal!   Still *****, but it's normal!

Thanks for all your help I was really tempted to get high earlier especially since my bf did I felt so betrayed. But I didn't. Now it's 4:30 am in Miami and I am wide awake with anxiety all of my symptoms have subsided to today is actually day 10 no subs I took some low dose Xanax to see if it helps I need sleep. This is the 1st night where sleep has been really an issue. I am so buying the flower spray tomorrow I hope I find it maybe the action of me spraying it will calm me down. Haven't smoked any cigarettes either which is a plus. Is this how it usually works with the anxiety it comes last? - thank u

You can do this, you know you can.
I felt the same way you did, you must remember, your in early days.
Dont undo your hard work, not many people can get through the first 5 days, but you have !!!
Get some sun light, this is a must for your general well-being, or vit d supp.
My anxiety off subs caused me to stop going out the house. Dont get stuck in this pattern.
You will not be like this forever, welcome to recovery : )
Please get the oral spray flower extract called Rescue Remedy ". Whenever you feel anxious, sad or depressed, spray 2 sprays on your tongue, whenever you want to.
I know this sounds too simple to work, but i used it in sub detox and recovery and it was my life saver. All drug stores should stock it. Its in a yellow box.
Stay positive, your brain has to heal, and subs is a bas.ard for dragging it out.
You didnt become an addict over night and you will need some months to undo the damage.
Please be strong, you need this xx

The anxiety comes in waves, so it's best to find something to keep you busy, while you heal.  Music, movies, a good book.  I always felt better around water, like a pool, hot bath, and such.  9 days is huge!!  Congratulations!!   I understand that subs (and methadone) have a long half-life, and tend to stay in your system longer than most other opiates.  Your anxiety is a function of the drugs trying to drag you back into the despair of addiction.  Stay busy, stay strong, and reach out to a higher power and/or aftercare for help through this.  You are very much on your way --- free at last, free at last...
