Ugh...rls are the worst! That and a full night's sleep were the symptoms that lingered the longest. Even at 10 months plus clean, I still get restless legs occasionally.
I will take a magnesium and a potassium and that sometimes helps. Wearing tight knee socks also!
Bananas helped me a lot. I hate bananas but they recommend that for pregnancy as well so going through withdrawal I tried them and would eat 2 or 3 a day to get rid of the rls. Also hot salt baths and if I needed I would use a heating pad laid it on the bed I would lay on my back with my legs on top of the heat and within a few min they would feel so much better
When they start bothering you try sleeping on the floor. Helps me.
Try taking a hot shower. Let the water hit where it is acting up.
Electric blanket helps. The heat helps.
Try a heating pad around your leg.
Of course get up and walk.
Ty to sleep propped up. Or in a recliner only partially reclined. Or whatever position helps.
Magnesium helps
And time. It'll go away. It will.
Hang in there it will get better. It was a couple months off oxycodone before I started sleeping for 4-5 hours a night. I did take them everyday for 11 years though. So it was expected for me. Are you taking the hot Epsom hot baths? Bannans are suppose to help the rls as well.
