Official day 3 (yes had to start over)

Well today is my official day "3" off of hydros.  I went about 4-5 days last week with a 2 day relapse so it messed me up again. After deciding to NOT use the methadone clinic as an easy wasy out , as that would be just another addiction. I have started to see a drug counselor who is requiring weekly ua's, which is SO good b/c that will just confirm that I will stay clean. Today I feel like I have more of an actual "cold" than withdrawls? I'm all congested, nose running, throat hurts, etc, is this normal? Also, how long do the runs last? Thanks to all for your support on this board :)

I'm a little over a week clean (9 days) and feel very good, I have slight cold symptoms & trouble sleeping but the worst is far past.

Keep up the good work, you will feel much better soon!

immodium the liquid is the best im on day 4 with no runs because of the immodium. Im on bottle number two!

Yes, I'm clean.  I was addicted to Lortab and took my last pill on 9/2.  I'm still going through some rough patches, but I hear it's just around the corner and I'll feel good as new.  It's not an easy process, but I think it's so worth it!!! :)  Just remember that - you might not feel normal for a few weeks or more depending on how long you were taking.

Awww thanks!!! My husband is all worried about me still having like non-stop runs but I told him I think it's normal. You're so sweet! Are you clean? and for how long?

WAY TO GO JDAWN!!!!  I'm sorry you relapsed, but glad you are back on track!!!  You have taken a fabulous step in the right direction.  For me, the runs lasted for a little over a week.  I had a headache and I also had some cold-like symptoms.  But, you also could have a cold on top of the withdrawals.  

Either way, WTG!!!!
