Amphetamine usage/abuse

I am currently getting high every other day on Sudafed, Adderal and Lexapro.  I have built up such a tolerance for this that sometimes I take a box and one half of sudafed 12hr. (120mgs)  That is 30 pills, plus the adderal XR(30mg) and Lexapro (20mgs).  Last night I felt nothing.  I want to clean myself up...how long will this stuff take to get out of my system???

Please do stick with your plan to quit.  It may not feel like anything is happening but you are putting terrible strain on your heart with all that stimulation & may not get any warning before major heart failure.

Aderall has a half life of around 10 hours & sudafed somewhat less than that.

If the Lexapro is prescribed, I would be inclined to stick with it for now as the rapid decline in stimulatory neurotransmitters from quitting the other 2 drugs may lead you to feel unmotivated and/ or depressed so the Lexapro should help with this.

Best wishes.

Hi,

I am not familiar with the withdrawal from any of those things. Please be patient as other members come on and maybe they can shed some light on this for you. I wish you the best.
