Yeah I still have to get up at night n take baths for my aching body n restless legs. No fun. But you've done so well, I bet your sleep will come to you soon
I have tried it; it helps me fall asleep, but doesn't keep me asleep for long. It looks like we made it through another night. Day 13; bring it!!
Kbusymom have u tried melatonin? Take it in the dark n count to 25 really heavy breaths. I did that last night n got 2 hrs straight sleep (most sleep I've gotten to date
Good luck tonight, I'm about to pray for us all!!
I feel your pain Ouchie. I'm having a really rough time too. Day 12 and I think a lot of it has to do w/ my Xanax taper as well as the opiate WD. I so wish we could get over the counter Tylenol w/ codeine in US, but that would only prolong the process. Stick w/ the regular Tylenol. I'm praying for us both tonight. I need some relief and a good night's sleep. Stay strong; glad you're here. I think we need all the support we can get!!
Yes I'm in Canada. I'll switch over to Tylenol body n ache right away. Crap I guess this means I gotta start my wd again? I'm taking a few t1 when my body hurts, every 4 hrs or so.
My wd from percs have been absolutely horrible ... But I was taking quite a lot
Hey ouchie...
You in Canada? I know that I used to go to Canada from Michigan and buy Tylenol 2's. That's basically how my habit began. I have a bad back and was constantly going to the doctor every few months for help. After a while it was easier to make the trip as opposed to going to the doctors and physical therapy. They were good for a while until I got introduced to stronger opiates and my race was off the rails. I would say definitely stop taking anything with opiates in them. Sounds like you aren't taking too much so hopefully your wds won't be that bad for too long. But, depending on the quantity you are taking, that is going to determine how bad things are in general coming off them and you can go through withdrawls daily even taking opiates...
Good to know! Thank u. That's weird they would sell over opiates over counter! I wish I was way more educated before starting this long painful journey.
Yes Tylenol with codeine,is an opiate based med and is addictive. Try just plain tylenol instead or ibuprophen .Hang in there and don't take any more codeine friend. That is just dragging out the withdrawal
