Overdose

I take 3 percs every 4 hours...does anyone know the dangers of an overdose? The drugs have made me super paranoid...I worry about dying all the time

I can totally relate to how you feel.  My doc Rx me Norcos 1-2 ever 4-6 hours.  I normally only took 6 a day.  But my pain started to get worse and I took the last dose which brought me up to 8 for the day.  The first few times didn't phase me.  But then one night, I got so paranoid.  I couldn't remember if I took 8 or 10 for the day.  I thought I had doubled my last dose accidentally.  My breathing got real shallow, my eyes were very dialated.  And I thought I was going to pass out. But my heart was racing too like an anxiety attack.  I was scared to death. I called a friend who came over immediatley.  She called Dial- A-Nurse.  They told her if I had consumed coffee or any caffinated drink it could cause this kind of reaction too. I had had about 3 cups of strong coffee plus a very sweet dessert.

That very next day, I swore to myself I would never take more than 6 a day.  I woke up with the biggest hangover sensation.  I must have doubled that last dose.  I didn't like that feeling at all.  It wasn't a high or buzz feeling that so many people here speak of.

Overdose symptoms are depressed respitory system, you basically stop breathing, dizzy spells to the point where you feel as though you are passing out, blurry vision.  OD dosages are certainly unique to each individual and based on tolerance levels.  But I dont think 15mg of ocycodone are going to throw you into an od status.

You're right...does anyone have a suggestion for a schedule based on my use?

I understand what you are saying....I started having those fears as well....maybe it's a good time to taper more.... ??? :)

No...I think Im just paranoid and anxious about how much Im using. Its really starting to screw with my head. I know my anxiety disorder is worse now that Ive been using again.

My script is for 1-2 pills every 4-6 hrs. They are 5/325. Ive been taking this much for the last week.

If you think you od'd you need to call 911 or go to the ER..what is your rx'd amt...how many mgs are your pills?
