Has any one tried L-Tyrosine for energy while coming off of painkillers? If yes has it helped?

Yes L-tyrosine helped me with energy but made me a bit jittery, but that went away after a couple of days. I would caution though that if you are having trouble sleeping try not to take them at least 6 hours before bedtime.

I did take it, not at the levels that was suggested on the Thomas Recipe.  I had to back off at first as it make me jittery.  Others have found it helps a lot.  Different for each of us.

Good morning sweetie.  First..hope you holding strong.  It's pretty quiet here on weekends but we're all cheering you on.  As you know that supplement is part of the Thomas Recipe.  Everyone is different and detoxes differently. One of my biggest issues in the first two weeks was morning anxiety.  I wasn't sleeping well and that was the time of day I pounded most of my pills chased with a pot of coffee.  What I've found is I can no longer take in caffeine (oh how I hope that goes away) and the L-Try's made me more anxious. However many people on this forum have had success.  If memory serves me right you can take up to five.  I would start out slow if you choose to try them.  They are all natural so it's not going to hurt you.  For me, it made me more jittery.
