L-tyrosene is AMAZING!

I don't know who has used this during withdrawls or for energy, but I ordered mine last week..and its been incredible..Soo much focus and energy..my metabolism has changed..Im running and I have more endurance..This is unbelievable because its creating dopamine on its own and supports your thyroid wich boosts your metabolism. I only take i capsule because 2 would be too much..it says 1-2. I know 1 is enough for me..Its meant for anxiety ,depression ADHD and many use it when coming off substance to help with energy loss. The part wich is amazing is I cleaned my kitchen  3 hours last night..pulled out every drawer, cleaned them out , cleaned the fridge...ect..i didn't even do that when i was using..its not a high its just energy and focus..I  recommend this to you all who need a natural way to get better! Check some reviews on google too..Today is day 11 and im still moving forward!

Tyrosine is an awesome supplement. Tryptophan is another amino acid that really promotes the other end of health, relaxing and lower anxiety. Definitely don't take to much and if you have issues with mania, really start slow with tyrosine. It's not a good fit for me, but it helps many people. I eat enough protein to get all the amino acids from diet. Often a supplement works from lack in diet, sometimes an individual has a natural deficiency. DLPA is also a good norepinephrine booster, but it to sent me into mania. Just because it's natural doesn't mean it's not strong, glad you found a good fit for your needs.

I've been taking it since Jan 1st, and I sure don't seem to get that much of an energy surge????  Am I taking it wrong? I WISH!!!!!!!  I mean, it helps, but it sure in the hell doesn't make me want to run a marathon, that's for sure?

Well, I went to the health food store and got some today, along with a multi/mineral supplement.  (Back to taking pills...hahaa)
Anyway, thanks for the info, can't harm, and I know my body and brain need nurturing and healing.  My diet is poor, so I think this will help, if not, nothing lost..I will keep an open mind..

Thanks for bringing it up Spider...I went over the edge while taking it with my anti-depressant.  Too much serotonin is not a good thing.  I wish I could take it as I see so many posts about the positive results.

Hey guys you have to read this web site from an experienced doctor. All about l-tyrosine and saint johns wort, sam-e, 5HTP etc. it tells you how it works, what it does to your brain, energy etc, and what not to take with l-tyrosine and saint johns.
It also tells u if the tyrosine isnt working for you, what you can do about it and you may need another drug name they provide instead of the tyrosine, as they both do different things in your brain. Its a brilliant piece of info for anyone struggling with detox, after detox, energy, anxt etc.
Type into google :
Dr. David Gersten Natural Treatment of Depression  and once it comes up on google look underneath his name till you find " life connection mag" . I hope this helps anyone

Haha... The top post just bought tears to my eyes, i was laughing so hard. My stomach is hurting and my family thinks im crazy! Sorry its just a typo but it was cool.
I think it doesnt work for some because if the tyrosine has a coating on the pill, i heard it wont work. I just bought from the health shop, tyrosine pure powder, so i'll see how that goes.

I'm getting some of this today. Does anyone know if this is the same "tyrosine" that is in protein powder? If so, should I be careful about taking more on top of the powder?

Pretty sure it's the same thing.  I can't answer that question for you but I take 1,000 mg a day which is 2 capsules about 45 Min before I eat. It does sure help with energy.

Yeah my powder form says take 1 metric tspn 2-3 times a day with juice or water. But every tspn is equivelant to 3000mg. I thought wholly carap thats a lot, compared to the pill being from 500mg-1500mg per day. Wonder if the powder and pill are different to each other.
I really hope its works for me because i got tyrosine pure powder by " Cabot " and since i took it yesterday, ive been on verge of vomitting. Still laying in bed but i did hear it takes 1-2 weeks to take effect. Soooo long...

Great info, how are you sleeping though? Does it keep you awake? Lord knows the majority of us do NOT want anything else fighting our sleep (or lack thereof...) take in the morning only then?

I took some adrenal plus last night and today, and then some tyrosine today. I feel pretty good and happy. Actually pretty sleepy too atm too, but that may be bc I worked my arse off at the gym or bc I am on the final day of the taper week. I won't know for sure about the tyrosine and stuff until the day after my taper...Sunday. I will let everyone know my thoughts on it, but I feel I will keep taking it regardless bc of everything I've read.

I've been averaging 2-3 hours a sleep a night, and not restful sleep at all. It's night sweats, RLS so bad, and weird waking dream states, and back pain too. I am sure I will be able to discern whether or not the supplements are helping.
Thanks!

Actually since ive taken it, i do feel more tired, i looked on my journal and the day i started feeling tired was the day i took tyrosine, 3 days ago. Not sure about anyone else but it doesnt keep me awake, i still sleep at night like normal. Still no energy at all. Im only taking 1 teaspn a day to start with, i heard less is better and i dont want to give myself seratone syndrome.
