Hydrocodone W/D Question

Hey everyone,
This is my first time posting any kind of question anywhere, but here goes.  I have been taking Lorcet for a while now.  I started taking it with a dr. prescription for pilonidal cyst disease.  I didn't start taking it for kicks or a high, but a legitimate health condition.  I have weaned myself off by tapering.  I took the last pill 32 hours ago.  I have not really had any withdrawal effects other than feeling a bit nervous.  I'm very nervous that it will get far worse than this, but it doesn't matter, because I have finally made up my mind.  I just found out that we are having another baby-and I am soooo excited.  I want this stuff out of my system and over and done with once and for all.  Can anyone tell me what I am likely to exerience in the nex hours/days?  Thanks in advance and I am so glad that you all are here. I really feel like you can give me the support I need to be finished.

It sounds like that you might not have too bad of withdrawals symptoms which is good.  Congrats on the new baby.  If you have anymore withdrawals syptoms it will mostly be restlessness, diarrhea, flu like syptoms, but for you I honestly don't think it will last that long.  Good Luck.

welcome to the forum and congrats on the baby.  at 32 hours you are probably not gonna get much worse.  try try try to exercise as much as possible.  even walking helps.  it helps jumpstart the brain to make endorphines naturally.  good luck.

Thank you so much for your responses.  I am so glad I found this forum.  I think the main problem I willl have from now on is the actual habit of taking the pills when the time came.  Like smoking, its more of a mental habit after the physical dependency goes away. I am going to try to stay strong and know that I never want to be in this situation again.  All I want to do is be a good mother and a good wife and I know I could do neither of these things if my ways continued.  Thanks so much again.
