Well everyone, I hit my 8 month mark today.  And all I can say is.... WHEW.  :)  Well, actually, that's not ALL I can say - THANK YOU EVERYONE for being here and helping me through.  Thank you.

Oh, I can't believe I missed this when you first posted it!  I just saw it.  I'm SO unbelievably proud of you for this.  It's so good to watch people like you do so well.  You're so deserving of this happiness and clean time.  You really make the effort that it takes to stay clean!  And THAT is what it takes.

Congrats on the sober time.....People like you are roll models to us newbies so early in our sobriety.  I have been on this site for about a year on and off each month as I would relapse.  I remember about 8 months ago talking with you a couple of times and reading a lot of your posts.....I wish I had followed in your footsteps and too been 8 mo sober today.....I am on day 6.5 heading into 7.5.....Posts like yours help me know that there is hope for being sober long term.....Thanks again!
