how long do withdrawals last

I've been on norco since 1994 I've had a total of 19 neck and back surgeries I,m tired of taking pills don.t know what to do.

2 to 3 every 6 hours  when my pain level is between 5 and 10  sometimes i can go 1 to 2 days with out taken any I think that's one of my biggest problems I don't know if it's the pain or withdrawals ether way I'm scare and tired of the pain.  I tried to detox but the doctors say since i need another surgery it will do me no good to detox.  I want to know if it is the back pain or withdrawals that is causing the pain and discomfort. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

The worst part of withdrawal is over in five days.You should tell your doc yuo want off and you and he can come up with a plan that fits you.It can be done.How many do you take per day?  Lots of good people are here to help and this is a great forum.
